A SUD is the musical billboard of Autumn Equinox 2026, promoted by the Municipality of San Giovanni a Piro with the patronage of the Campania Region and the artistic direction of Don Gianni Citro. An event that combines music, entertainment and valorisation of the territory, transforming the most evocative squares and corners of San Giovanni a Piro, Bosco and Scario into open-air stages.

Between July and September, four great musical events with free entry they will bring important artists from the Italian scene to the heart of Cilento, involving citizens, tourists and visitors in an experience of entertainment and culture.

The program continues saturday 5 September in Piazza Giovanni Paolo II in San Giovanni a Piro with LDA and Aka7even . The evening will start at 8.00 pm with opening crew and DJ set, while the concert will begin at 10.00 pm.

Friday 11 September , in Piazza 7 Luglio 1828 in Bosco, will be the protagonist Eugenio Bennato , with a show dedicated to Mediterranean musical tradition and culture, scheduled at 10.00 pm.

The grand finale is expected saturday 12 September in Scario, in the Piazzale del Porto, with the concert of The Kolors , one of the most loved bands on the contemporary Italian music scene. Also in this case, the appointment is at 10.00 pm.

More than a music festival, A SUD it is an invitation to look towards the South, to recognize its identity and to be conquered by its energy. A South made of fragility and contradictions, but also of light, colours, poetry, hope and trust in the future .

The Autumn Equinox thus confirms itself as a reference event in the cultural panorama of Cilento, capable of intertwining music, tourism, culture and territorial promotion , enhancing local communities and identities through large events open to all.
